Dr. Yvette Malcolm-Theriault
My name is Yvette Malcolm-Theriault. I am a Registered Dietitian currently living in FL. I am 51 y.o, 5’7” tall. I have deep roots in Jamaica, where I grew up as the youngest of 11 siblings. After migrating to the U.S., I joined the Army as a Cook, and it was there that my passion for nutrition began. The Army also gave me one of the greatest gifts of my life: I met my husband during training. Together, we’ve raised three wonderful sons.
 When I transitioned out of the Army, I originally planned to pursue a career in pharmacy. However, I kept returning to what I had learned in the Army kitchens. I decided to follow my passion and enrolled in nutrition courses at the University of Northern Colorado, where I earned my Bachelor’s in Nutrition and Dietetics. I went on to complete a Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics at Central Michigan University, and a Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Kansas Medical Center.
 Over the years, I’ve worked in military treatment facilities, civilian hospitals, and long-term care—gaining valuable experience in health and wellness. But when I turned 50, my journey took a personal turn. I found myself facing the same dismissive advice I had often seen given to my patients: “It’s just part of getting older” or “eat less and exercise more.” I was even offered quick prescriptions with little explanation. That moment changed everything for me.
I knew my patients deserved better. That’s why I created Coral Crest Nutrition and The Rebalance Program (Reset your mindset, Empower your health, Believe in your strength, Activate your potential, Live stronger, Aspire higher, Never give up, Change your story, Elevate your life) - Created out of both my professional experiences and my personal journey. This program is designed to go beyond generic advice and truly address the root causes of challenges like weight gain, insulin resistance, fatigue, and hormone imbalances.
I’m passionate about creating a space where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to take control of their health—because I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel.
My approach is practical, compassionate, and evidence-based. I focus on helping people rebalance their hormones, support metabolism, improve blood sugar control, enhance digestion, and build sustainable lifestyle habits for sustainability—without restrictive diets or unrealistic routines.
